Vertisoft Technologies has been a leading provider of custom software solutions for over 20 years. In 1995, Vertisoft acquired the name it bears today. Our company name reflects the kind of work we do: 'Vertisoft' is a compound of the phrase 'vertical software'. Vertical software refers to software that is industry-specific (as opposed to horizontal software, which is not industry specific). An example of a vertical software solution is a billing solution for the shipping and transportation industry. The shipping industry has invoice requirements, such as shipping weight, dimensional weight, shipping distance, etc. that make it different than, say, medical claims or invoices in the publishing industry. Over the past 20 years, we have acquired substantial expertise in a dozen vertical industries, which experience we share with our clients.

As independent application developers, Vertisoft deals primarily with CIOs who have identified a problem which has no off-the-shelf solution or who have identified a deficiency with their existing software. We advise the CIO as to possible solutions and will act as primary developers and/or work with in-house staff. We do not operate a management consulting business that aims to cross sell software services because we see this as a conflict of interest. We have found that our business model allows us to provide the optimal solutions for our clients.
